Playing in the BARLA Yorkshire Cup as under 13's, Stanley were well fired up despite the long trip to the east coast to face Holderness Vikings, taking control from the start and coming out as 20-4 victors.
Tries for Rangers were scored by Alfie Goddard (2) Kirk Milner, Liam Brady and Billy Crabtree. Some great forward running from Ryan Snowden, Owen Trout and Matty Sowerby set the platform for great support runs from Goddard. Lee Kovacs was Parents' Player of the Match, Matty Sowerby was Top Tackler, Goddard gained Outstanding Effort and the whole team shared the Man of the Match award. |
