Under 11s Match Reports, 2007-8 Co-op Festival Stanley Rangers took on local rivals Walton, Westgate and hosts Eastmoor in the Co-Op tournament on Sunday. Overall the competition was a great advertisement for junior rugby with skill and determination on show in equal measure from all teams. Whilst other teams traded results, Stanley remained on top of their game to emerge victorious in all three matches accumulating nine unanswered tries. The defensive effort against a ferocious and sustained period of pressure from Walton was also of note. Tries came from Jacob Ware (2), Max (2), Danny Sowerby, Danny Johnson, Johnny Holmes, Ben Hardacre and Alex Keaney. |
