Under 11s Rangers Match Reports, 2007-8 Stanley Rangers U11s v Drighlington U11s In what was possibly the coldest day of the season two sides locked horns to put in a superb display well above their ages, when adults would have given up due to the weather. In the end Stanley were too strong for a gutsy Drighlington and kept their composure to continue their impressive run of games. Tries came from Man of the Match Daniel Sowerby who was at the centre of the play creating gaps with an impressive half back display, Mathew English, Jacob Ware and Magic Moment winner Alex Parker who ran into one of those gaps to split the defence for his try. Man of the match 2 went to Jonny Holmes, the workman of the team who consistently punched holes in the Drighlington defence to give the backs a platform to work from. |
