Under 11s Rangers Match Reports, 2007-8 Shaw Cross U11s v Stanley Rangers U11s A fantastic defensive display from Stanley kept a strong running Shaw Cross out and then secured a win with the last play of the game. After a close game from two hard hitting teams, Shaw Cross went over late on to level the score in the last few minutes of the game but missed the conversion, only to see Stanley go straight back up the other end and score the final try of the game to take to spoils. Tries came from Jacob Ware with a long range effort that earned him the Magic Moment for the game, Daniel Sowerby and Ben Hardaker who scored the winning try with the last play of the game who also earned Mman of the Match 2 for his overall play during the game. Man of the Match went to Callum Sampson for a no-nonsense gritty performance guiding the Rangers pack round the field well. |
