Under 11s Rangers Match Reports, 2007-8 Stanley Rangers U11s v Stanningley U11s Stanley Ranger U11s showed grit and determination with a performance to be proud of and finished the winners in this tightly defensive game. With the relatively tight score line in favour of Stanley at the half mainly due to some fantastic defence from both teams the game was on a knife edge. Stanley Rangers stepped up a yet another gear after the break to dominate the second half and run out convincing winners - but what a game from both teams. Tries came from Jacob Ware (1) Alex Parker (1) George Goodall (1) and Max Jowitt (2). Man of the Match 1 went to Daniel Johnson for a majestic full back display in attack and defence, with Man of the Match 2 going to the unstoppable Jacob Ware for some fantastic runs making valuable yard against a tough defence. Magic Moment went to George Goodall for yet another assured performance at centre stopping any attacks down his side and bagging a great try to top it off. Both team should be very proud of their performances after the referee commented it was like officiating at an Under 16s game the standard was that good. |
