Under 11s Wildcats Match Reports, 2007-8 Walton U11s v Stanley Rangers U11s Wildcats The Wildcats had their first friendly of this season away at Walton and came away with a very good win. There was some outstanding defence from Stanley throughout with some crunching tackles especially from Alex Hobson and Jack Pemberton. Walton were first on the board with a try very early in the game but then Stanley took a firm grip and replied with some very well worked tries. Stanley went into the half time break ahead of Walton. The seocnd half was a closer affair with both teams working hard to break each other down but it was Stanley that held firm with the advantage of the slope and they ran out comfortable winners. The try scorers for Stanley were Jacob Unwin (2), Jack Pemberton, Ben Fisher, Rachel Proctor and Lewis Gower. |
