This turned out to be a very easy game for Stanley with Churwell struggling for numbers, and low on confidence. The Churwell boys however did not throw in the towel, and contested to the very last minute of the game.

There is little point in outlining all the tries. but every player played their part in a good victory, with Jacob Ware scoring a hat-trick, and bagging Magic Moment; Daniel Sowerby taking Opposition Man of the Match for scoring and creating several tries, and Dom Jones bagging a well deserved Man of the Match - his kick returns were fantastic, and he tackled, and ran with purpose all game. Keiran Holt ran superbly all game, causing mayhem in the Churwell defence, and all the team were helped by a wonderful display of dummy half play from Ben Cornell.

The next game is Shaw Cross at home, and it goes without saying we are looking foward to that one.
