A hard fought game ended with a rare defeat for this team at the hands of a very good Dewsbury Celtic side.
The Rangers started very well and had two try's what appeared to be perfectly good disallowed. The boys stuck to the task, and ended the first half with a 16 point to nil half time score line.
The second half was very frustrating with some basic errors, and some 50 50 calls not going our way. The Dewsbury side ran hard, and made huge gains into our lines, and finished the match the stronger of the two teams. The turning point at 16 - 14 to the Rangers was the decision to award a penalty try with less than 5 minutes to go, and after the successful conversion put us down and out.
The boys will bounce back, and after losing only our second game in 4 years we are more than looking forward to playing Celtic at Stanley the first week back in the New Year.
