Stanley Rangers U13s were pushed all the way with a hard fought 30-40 victory away at York Acorn.
 
Two evenly matched sides, deadlock at half time at 16 a piece made for a thrilling encounter, but it was powerful running from Man of the Match Matty Burman that made all the difference. Right up to the final whistle it could have gone either way but also the work rate from Aidan Womack, Jordan Sharp and Vinny Cross just gave Rangers the edge in this gripping clash.
 
Tries scorers were Jack Briggs, Jordan Howden, Charlie Ledger, Tom Mulhern with braces from Matty Burman and Jordan Sharp. Conversions came from Ledger and Joe Unwin.
