Stanley Rangers U13s forced a 24-24 draw away with a thrilling encounter at Milford Marlins, when both teams showed true grit and determination and the lead passing backwards and forwards on numerous occasions in the final 10 minutes.

Stanley did themselves no favours in the first half with a slow start that saw them trailing 14-6 at half time and Milford looking the stronger more organised team.

Incredibly, the boys battled back in the second half with Aidan Womack, Jordan Smith and Vinny Cross making valuable yards and Charlie Ledger, Jack Ledger and Man of the Match Tom Mulhern solid in defence.Liam Green and Tom Mulhern both crossed for a brace with Jordan Howden scoring one and Joe Unwin converting two.

Gamestar: Tom Mulhern who was solid in defence marking his opponent out of game.
