Clubman of the Year Damian Rules
Supporters Player of the Year Matty Burman
Man of Steel Tom Mulhern
Players Player of the Year Matty Burman
Coaches Player of the Year Jordan Howden
We would like to publically thank everyone who has supported the U13s throughout the 2008/09 season. It has been another big season for the team and they have proved what a great side and a fantastic group of lads they really are. But, we are not quite finished yet and we are hoping to top off the season in style when we take on Crigglestone in the Wakefield Cup Final.
With regards to the Breast Cancer Sponsorship tickets that were purchased from the U13s in support of the charity, we raised a fantastic £500 and would like to offer our thanks and gratitude to all the generous people who donated to a much needed cause. Our lucky winner was Graham Hayton of GJH Commericial Vehicle Services who is based in Horbury and he will be the sleeve sponsor on our pink kit for the 2009/2010 season.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Tony & Rachel from Tony's of Outwood Fish & Chips who have agreed to be our main sponsor for the 2009/2010 season and John from UKHD Group who has supplied the team and coaching staff with pink polo t-shirts - your support is greatly appreciated. The lads have really embraced the pink breast cancer theme for the season and will prove they really are "Tough Enough to Wear Pink".
Finally, after the presentation we held a race night which was a very successful and noisy affair but was great fun and we raised £565 which will be going to the team's funds for next season. So once again thanks to family and friends of the U13s who supported the team by buying horses.
