In a ten-try fantastic all round team performance, Stanley Rangers U13s came away worthy winners when they were entertained by a spirited Shaw Cross side.
Man of the Match was shared between Jack Rules who once again created problems with his outstanding go forward attitude and Vinny Cross who not only scored four tries but led the forwards in what was an incredibly gutsy display of attack and defence.
The Rangers were in top form with Tom Mulhern, CJ Sutcliffe and Kieran White all putting in excellent defensive displays preventing the Shaw Cross attacking line from gaining valuable yards.
Halfbacks Joe Unwin and Jordan Howden created magic in the middle, drawing the defensive line before passing out quality balls to create some superb tries to which the opposition had no answers. Shaw Cross never gave up though and their determination showed right up to the final whistle.
Try scorers were Vinny Cross (4), Matty Burman (2), Liam Green, Jordan Howden, Tom Mulhern, Jordan Sharp and conversions from Charlie Ledger, Jordan Howden and Joe Unwin to complete the 14-52 scoreline to take Stanley Rangers to the top of the table
