Stanley Rangers U13s travelled to last years U12s BARLA Yorkshire Cup holders West Hull and were knocked out of this year's cup in the semi finals, in what was a hard fought game.
The Rangers held their own in the first half and despite Charlie Ledger having a perfectly good try disallowed they managed to keep the game flowing with some excellent rugby skills keeping the score to a respectable 10-0 at half time.
In the second half, Liam Green came out determined to put the Rangers on the score sheet and with West Hull's defence broken he went over within minutes and Tom Megretton converted.
Stanley tried to keep the memento going but with their confidence knocked on numerous occasions and four injuries, West Hull monopolised giving a final score of 6-26 which didn't reflect the team's effort and performance.
Man of the Match was awarded to Matty Burman who worked tirelessly in moving the team forward.
