Stanley Rangers travelled to Chorley in Lancashire to play the Panthers side from the North West Counties first division.
Stanley started the game in fine form with some great defence and quick rapid movement of the ball. Stanley standoff Matty Hobson scored the first try with a great dummy and 30 yard dash to the line.
Thomas Sowerby scored the next and first of his 4 tries of the match and showed some amazing footwork and speed, and was awarded the Opposition an of the Match by the Chorley coaches.
Harry Hirst, who must have been very close for the MOTM award worked like a monster in defence, and attacked with venom. Harry scored a superb try too.
The try scorers for Stanley were Ollie Edmunson, Tom Sowerby, Matty Hobson, Nial Fitzsimons, Jordan O'Neill, and Aidan Shaw.
The final score of 40 points to 12 was a true reflection of the game and a great start to the season.
