Oulton Vikings U13s 14 v Stanley Rangers U13s 42

Stanley travelled to local neighbours Oulton Vikings this weekend and in their second encounter came away winners at 42-14.

A rapid start saw the Rangers 18 points up in the first 7 minutes and they kept up the momentum throughout the match. Rangers points came from tries by Ryan Snowden, Ed Wilcox (2), Harry Crabtree (3), and Carter Bower-Stead who scored a try on his debut for the club. Alfie Goddard had a great kicking game, adding all 7 conversions.

Lee Kovaks, Liam Sawyer and Brett Miller all gave great shows and were narrowly pipped in the Man of the Match awards by Liam Whipp (1st); Carter Bower-Stead (2nd) and Oliver Wigglesworth (3rd).Alfie Goddard gained the Outstanding Effort and Owen Trout the Away Man of the Match.

Next week - 11th May - the Under 13s are at home to Newsome Panthers.
