Lock Lane U13s 6 v Stanley Rangers U13s 36

Stanley Rangers Under 13s had a good win away at Castleford Lock Lane last week winning 36 points to 6. Stanley for the second week running had to play with no less than 5 first choice players missing, and it's a new experience for us not having all our regular players on board.
Stanley toughed it out in the first half with some solid defence out wide from Broom and Jowitt, with Jonny Holmes doing his now standard 35 plus tackles per game.
Daniel Sowerby again was the creator for 5 out of 6 Stanley tries with Kieran Holt missing the whole second half through injury, Ben Hardaker took up the task of loose foward to good effect.
Tom McGretton played at stand off, and looked the part, with Opposition Man of the Match Dom Jesus Jones outstanding at the back.
Daniel Sowerby was Man of the Match for his creative and scoring efforts, and Alex Hobson earned the Magic Moment for his superb pass outwide for Sam Mawson to finish off a very good flowing move.
The next game up is Castleford Panthers and with Kieran Holt added to the injured list it may well be a more diffecult task.
