Stanley bowed out to Lock Lane in the semi-finals of the Yorkshire Cup losing out 32-16.
Rangers were their own worst enemies losing the ball and failing to complete sets on too many occasions. In an eventful game one of the Rangers players was airlifted from the field by helicopter and after the break in play Stanley failed to capitalise on possession. Try scorers for Stanley were Nigel Dangare, Harry Crabtree and Edward Wilcock. Man of the Match was Owen Trout.
