Hunslet Warriors U14s 6 v Stanley Rangers U14s 66
03.10.10
Stanley took on Hunslet Warriors and had to play in conditions that made the 1968 water splash final look like Benidorm. The rain, wind, sleet, and ice all took their toll in the coldest day for 8 months.
Stanley from the kick off conceded a try and found themselves behind and dejected. The boys however in these conditions stuck to the game plan and came in at half time cold, wet, but in front by 10 points to 6.
Stanley after some advice and guidance emerged from the changing rooms in a more determined mood, and played like we know they can.
The rugby was great to watch, and with a final score of 66 to 6 shows how well we all played in the game.
