       Stanley Rangers U14s 26 v Westgate Wolves U14s 6
    07.11.10
Stanley came to this game on the back of some great form, and against top teams which keeps you sharp. The game was always going to be tough against one of the effective, biggest and most powerful teams anywhere in Westgate.
The first half for most part belonged to Stanley who even going uphill created 4 try scoring chances, two dropped balls over the line, one foot in touch on the try line, and a player losing his footing with nothing in front of him and the game could have been won in the first half as Westgate did to us at their place.
Stanley remained composed and defended to a man superbly well. The shape and structure on display proved that this team win or lose are heading in the right direction as a group of players. The score at halftime was 6 nil, and as stated could have been a lot higher.
Westgate however have match winners all over the field, and we did not let our guard down, and continued in the same way we did in the first half.
The second half saw the same great team rugby, structure, and shape that made us all very proud. The final score of 26 to 6 gave all the boys a big boost, and they are looking better every week.
