Stanley Rangers U16s crashed out of the Yorkshire League Cup 48-14 at the hands of Holderness Vikings, a team two divisions above them.
Rangers matched Holderness man for man in the first half with a good solid performance that saw Reece Lupton cross the whitewash twice and James Glover adding a conversion to see the sides locked at 10-10 at the half time break.
The second half saw Holderness cut loose, restricting Rangers to a consolation try by James Raywood.
