Rangers U16s  remain top of Division Two with a comprehensive 41-6 win over Ovenden.

Rangers raced into a 22-0 half time lead with tries to Jordan Author,James Glover, Liam Grimmett and Adam Megretton.

Ovenden threw everything they had at Rangers at the start of the second half but were only able to break Rangers solid defence once for a converted try before Rangers regained control as James Glover completed his hat- trick to add to his six conversions.

Jack Hartness also crossed the whitewash and then slotted over a drop goal with the last play of the game.

Rangers' push for the league title continues on Sunday with a home game against Elland.
