Under 16s Match Reports, 2007-8 Stanley Rangers U16s 6 v Hunslet Warriors 16s 12 This Yorkshire Cup semi-final was always going to be a close game, given that both teams were defending their unbeaten records so far this season but it was Hunslet Warriors who took home the spoils, winning 12-6. Hunslet led by 6-0 at the interval, but Rangers came back in the second half to level the score with a Jacob Crossland try which he also converted. Crossland then had a try disallowed minutes later as Rangers through everything at the visitors. However Hunslet weathered the attacking play and managed to go over in the corner to take the match. Rangers' Man of the Match was awarded to Jordan Grayston. |
