Stanley Rangers continued their unbeaten start to the season with another fine attacking display against a resolute Selby Warriors outfit.
Stanley set the tone with Alfie Goddard crossing the whitewash in the opening minute of the game, only for Selby to hit back after some poor defensive work from Stanley. The early exchanges continued to be fairly even, before Stanleys attacking pace and passing proved too much for Selby. Kyle Holroyd was nominated as top tackler after a fine all round display, and Man Of Steel went to Joe Hall for a good tackling display, and in particular a great off load to set up Alfie Goddard's second try.Man Of The Match went to Jake Smith for some impressive one on one tackling and also bagging two tries. The opponents Man of The Match went to Cameron Lees, who once again defied his size and age with some ferocious tackling.
Stanley are looking forward to next weeks game, which should be there biggest test of the season so far.
