Rangers had a bright start to their game against Askam with a Joel Marsh try on the sixth minute. Danny Grice then converted his own try seconds before the half time whistle taking Stanley in at the break 10-0 up.

Askam fought back in the second half when Mike Wilson crossed 15 minutes from time and Mark Tyson converted the try. Rangers made certain of the win when Carl Hughes crossed the line and Danny Grice added the kick, leaving the final score 16-6 to Stanley.

This coming weekend - 18th April- Stanley Rangers travel to Featherstone Lions.
