Stanley had a tough game against league contenders Featherstone Lions and despite a second half come-back were unable to overcome the deficit and lost 20-64.
The Lions were 34-4 up at the hour although Rangers recovered to narrow the gap to 34-20 with 12 minutes left. However, Featherstone ran in a further 30 points to take the two points. Stanley's points came from a brace for Chris Grice and tries for Jamie Bell and James Senkiw, with two goals to Shaun Abson.
Stanley's Man of the match was James Senkiw
