Stanley Rangers, despite the efforts of prop David Brown struggled to contain Featherstone Lions who were 28-0 ahead after 22 minutes and who maintained the pressure from then on. The Lions second row Joe Fox, scored a brace, with stand-off Rich Frankland, centre Josh Hardcastle and loose forward Danny Glassell also scoring. Centre James Senkiw replied for Stanley on the 28th minute but Glassell's second try and a further try from Anthony Yates gave the visitors a 38-4 half time lead.

In the second half, the Lions kept up the scoring with tries from Glassell, Eadie, Gibbons and Hepworth also crossing the whitewash. Fullback Ian Jackson landed nine goals.

There is no fixture planned for this coming weekend (August 15).
