Third-place Leigh East proved too strong in the end for a determined Stanley Rangers who led 8-6 after 9 minutes but eventually were beaten 46-14. Stanley put up a fine performance for a young side.
Stanly led 8-6 after the opening exchanges with tries by Jamie Bell and James Senkiw but at half time Leigh led 26-8. In the second half Rangers' Kieran Holt touched down, converted by Danny Grice but Leigh dominated and finished 46-14 winners.
