Rangers were disappointed to lose out to visitors Barrow Island 20-26 after leading 20-10.

Rangers had led through tries from two to Liam Grimmett and tries to Danny Asquith and Joe Binns with two Danny Grice conversions. Barrow had early tries from Tez Nueto and Jake Stockdale and one conversion by Matty Sayle. However, tries to Ryan Clgg and Matty Sayle, with Matt Parkinson's two conversions edged the Cumbrian team ahead with 5 minutes to go, Clegg added a last minute clincher to end wih a 26-20 win.
