Stanley Rangers travelled up to Gateshead with a team short of players and facing injuries. With these problems, they played an extremely tough game. Rangers battled hard until the end but the team saw it through and completed a tough season.
By half time, Gateshead were ahead 54-0 and continued with try scoring to reach the century by the end of the match with Stanley's Richard Catlley kicking a field goal four minutes from the end of the game. The whole team battled bravely throughout a very difficult match with Liam Grimmett being chosen as Stanley's Man of the Match.
