Disappointment for Stanley Rangers who were hoping to build on recent successes but were beaten at home by Oldham St Annes 26-16.
In the first half Oldham's points came from a hat-trick by Dominic Bryan and three goals from Matthew Whitehead. closing at half time 16-6 ahead, a Jake Lord try for Rangers, goaled by Danny Duce putting the points on the board.
St Annes moved ahead in the second half with further tries from Whitehead and Coshin and were leading 26-6 but Rangers fought back with tries from Danny Asquith and Lee Alderson all successfully converted by Danny Duce. but it was just not enough to keep the visitors from taking the two points with the final score 26-18.
