Stanley played their first home game of the 2018 season against Waterhead Warriors in what was a rearranged fixture, due to a water-logged pitch at the Oldham side.
Rangers were 34-0 down just after half time, but a spirited fight back by the team led to tries from Luke Saunders, Jake Lord, Josh Allenby and Jordan Walker, along with 2 goals from Joel Marsh. For Waterhead, tries came from a brace by Liam Aspin, Ross Crawford, Jamie Mayall, Martyn Sarsfield and Dec Slicker with a goal by Holland. However, it was the second half points coming from a Matt Holland try and Kegan Brennan's fifth goal that sealed the win by the visitors.
There is no game this weekend so the next match for Stanley Rangers will be on the 24th March away at Woolston Rovers.
