To the memory of Joe Tate

This page being a tribute to my great friend Joe Tate, small in stature but he walked with one of the biggest hearts in Stanley. If anyone was in need of a favour Joe was the man who they sought out. The word 'no' wasn't in his vocabulary. He was the kind of man who would help anyone and everyone.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jo, and becoming his friend, some 25 years ago. I can say in all honesty our friendshiip never wavered. Long may the memory of Joe Tate live oon. If there were a few more people in the world like Joe I am sure the world would be a better place.

My heart goes out to his wife Margaret and his son Richard. All the teams at Stanley Rangers and Committee members send their deepest condolences.

Rest in peace Joe. My thoughts are with you.
