Saturday 10th March saw our first game of the 2018 season away in Keighley.

It was a mud bath out there, and cold to boot, but these young kids still enjoyed getting back out playing.
Cowling were the stronger side today, with good tackling and tries a-plenty, but our small team didn’t even worry about it, they never let their heads drop, and supported each other the whole game. They even scored 7 tries themselves.
We saw a whole new side to these youngsters in this game, a new found respect for each other and the team. We were so proud of them during and after the game, and look forward to seeing them progress throughout the season.

We couldn’t have asked for a better team to play our opening game against. They were fair and respectful, and made a great effort to ensure all the kids had an enjoyable game, which is what we all want for them - to encourage them to keep playing our wonderful game.
