11- man Stanley put up a sterling effort but in the end were soundly beaten by Milford. The home side opened the scoring with a couple of tries but Stanley hit back with lovely hands and a nice step from Euan Gaskin to cross in the corner, Charlie Marsh adding the extras. The teams then traded tries Elliot Griffiths busting through for Stanley to score, Tom Hayes converted.

The heat and numbers took their toll on Stanley at the start of the second half as Milford stretched their lead, but Stanley forwards Harvey Harrap and Ashton Walker took it to them in the middle, creating space for Marsh to jink his way over, Cassius Armstrong converting as Stanley never gave up the game
