A slow start cost Stanley Rangers U11s dearly as they were 2 tries down in the first 5 minutes and struggled to claw their way back after. But credit to the away side as front men Jack Roberts and Tom Chivers took the game to Moldgreen and stemmed the tide although they did add another score before half time.
Stanley stepped up a gear in the second half and were soon on the score sheet when Charlie Marsh opened up Moldgreen to score. Both teams traded tries but it was Stanley's ability to promote the ball and Elliot Griffiths strong running creating space that enabled Tom Chivers to score Stanleys 2nd with Lewis Robinson adding the extras. Again Moldgreen hit back but it was Stanley that had the last say with darting runs from dummy half and lovely hands again saw Ollie Fitzsimon cut through their defence to finish the game for Stanley on a high.
