Stanley Under 11s started their season off with an exciting fightback against Shaw Cross Sharks.
Both sides were evenly matched in the first half with Shaw Cross Sharks leading by one try at the interval. Stanley's points came from tries by Harvey Harrup and Charlie Marsh who also kicked one conversion.
The second half saw Stanley take control of the game with three more tries to Marsh, after good play by Tom Hayes. Tom Chivers also crossed the whitewash and with Hayes kicking two more goals the home side ran out winners.
