Castleford Panthers U11s v Under 11s Rangers
19.04.08
Stanley again won a hard-fought encounter, against a well drilled and much improved Castleford Panthers side, coming out victors by 32 points to 12.
Stanley did enough, but by their high standards were a little under par. Jacob Ware scored a hat-trick of tries to keep the visitors at a distance, all forged from a solid performance from the front row. Johnny Holmes took the Man of the Match medal with Callum Sampson again producing the goods. Kieron Holt ran hard all game and was awarded the man of the match 2 award, with big Jacob taking Magic Moment for his fine hat-trick. The score of the day was a superb individual effort by Alex Keaney to chalk up a wonderful try.
The Rangers take on Shaw Cross next week, in what most believe will be the hardest game of the calendar.
