Stanley Rangers U12s Presentation Evening
12.07.08 The U12s took part in the Castleford Lock Lane 9 a side tournament last weekend and were just pipped at the post by the hosts in a nail biting final that went into extra time.
Consolation was that Stanley Rangers Stand Off and Captain Jordan Howden was selected as Player of the Tournament after an impressive display by the whole team.
Later that evening the U12s presentation took place at the clubhouse with former Stanley Rangers players Carl Hughes (Featherstone Rovers) and Gareth Pountney (Castleford Tigers) handing out the trophies.
The whole team received a squad trophy which was truly deserved after a very successful season winning the The Richard Harris Memorial Cup in the YJARL Challenge Cup Final, The Wakefield District Cup and finalists in the BARLA Yorkshire Cup in their first year of asking.

Top Try Scorer of the Year: Liam Green
Clubman of the Year: Adam Newby
Man of Steel: Charlie Ledger
Players Player of the Year: Matty Burman
Spectators Player of the Year: Jordan Howden
Coaches Player of the Year: Jordan Howden
The coaches are very proud of what these young lads have achieved this season and the effort they have put in during training and on match days.The team have played extremely well and are a credit to the coaches, their families and have represented Stanley Rangers ARLFC in true sporting fashion.
