Stanley Rangers U12s Presentation Evening

The U12s took part in the Castleford Lock Lane 9 a side tournament last weekend and were just pipped at the post by the hosts in a nail biting final that went into extra time.
Consolation was that Stanley Rangers Stand Off and Captain Jordan Howden was selected as Player of the Tournament after an impressive display by the whole team.
Later that evening the U12s presentation took place at the clubhouse with former Stanley Rangers players Carl Hughes (Featherstone Rovers) and Gareth Pountney (Castleford Tigers) handing out the trophies.
The whole team received a squad trophy which was truly deserved after a very successful season winning the The Richard Harris Memorial Cup in the YJARL Challenge Cup Final,  The Wakefield District Cup and finalists in the BARLA Yorkshire Cup in their first year of asking.
Other trophies awarded on the night went to:
Most Improved Player of the Year:  Tom Megretton
