After a see-saw tussle Rangers U14s eventually went down 24-18 to reigning cup holders Westgate Redoubt in the Wakefield Cup Final.

Trailing 12-0 Rangers hit back to take the lead thanks to tries from Liam Jeffcote,Billy Wright and Adam Megretton with James Glover adding a conversion.

After the break James Glover was unlucky to have a try disallowed for off-side and Jordan Aurthor one cancelled out for a forward pass. Jack Wronski crossed for Rangers' final try to level the scores before Westgate sealed victory in the final minute.
