Odsal Sedbergh U9s v Stanley Rangers U9s
24.03.19
Stanley Rangers made the journey over to Odsal Sedbergh and arrived to
find the sun shining bright!
The Rangers started off with a great defensive effort which continued
throughout the entirety of the game. It was good to see strong tackles being made, with support in numbers
restricting the opposition to only a few offloads throughout, resulting in
the defensive line rarely being breached.
When Sedbergh got close to the try line, Rangers defence stood firm,
managing to hold them out by working well as a team. In attack Rangers started strongly from the first set, good direct running
was at times too much for the Sedbergh defence to handle, although they
never stopped trying. As the game progressed Stanley began to adopt a more expansive passing
game and reaped the rewards with some great team tries.
A great effort by Sedbergh and another outstanding effort by everyone of
the Rangers team.
