Stanley Rangers came up against a much improved Sherburn Bears today. But the Rangers matched their enthusiasm and effort and produced a very accomplished display, in both attack and defence. For the majority of the game, good line speed and plenty of numbers in the tackle restricted Sherburn to only a handful of try scoring opportunities. In attack, lots of good strong running caused the Bears defence problems all game and when the defence got numbers in the tackle, some great passing allowed players to run into the space that had been created, resulting in some great team tries. 

An outstanding effort by everyone involved.
