What a game ! The Rangers came out all guns blazing against the biggest team in the comp. Lock Lane are a very good side, fair and physical and in most parts of the game we matched their size, and used our skill and speed to counter attack the defensive line.

Tom Sowerby had the game of the season with a amazing display of tackling (21) tackles, many offloads, and (3) three superb try's. He was awarded the man of the match by the Lock Lane coaching team. Stanley awarded the coaches award to Tom Robbins for his consistant effort during this match, never once holding back against players literally twice his size. Magic Moment for a copybook tackle out wide, which saved a certain try, was awarded to Sean Smith. Top Tackler again went to Big Tommy Gant, with 22 tackles, one more than Sowerby, and he worked his socks off too.
