This is the game that most of us enjoy to play in due to the spirit they are always played in. Wetherby play the game fast, and fair, with bags of enthusiasm, and we raised to the occasion. The game was in the balance until the second half when Stanley produced 4 quick fire try;s to finish off any resistance from Wetherby.

Nick Fowler was superb in both attack and defence, but his hard running, and several high quality off loads won him a well deserved Man of the match chosen by Wetherby. The defensive effort was great, with three players all topping 20 tackles, but Mathew Hobson came out on top with a impressive 21 hits.
